Eternal God, by whose Spirit your faithful people are governed and blessed, kindle, we pray, in every member of Ascension Church true love of you and trust in your wisdom and counsel. Guide us in these times of transition to closer communion with you and deeper kinship with one another.

Hold us faithful in worship, both shared and private, and ever mindful of your leadership. Open each heart to loving hospitality and, Almighty Father, reach deep into Ascension Church to use us for the stewardship of all your gifts and for your own work in Vallejo and beyond. 

We ask this and all things through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
